PRAVHA BRANDING

VCCP were approached by Staropramen and Molson Coors to create branding for a new beer. Staropramen had created a lighter tasting pilsner, inspired by Prague called Pravha.

I created the logo and in collaboration with Lee Bodell we designed the bar runners, pump and pump badge.

LOGO DESIGN Pravha is a lighter, crisper Czech Pilsner. It's a twist on the typical Pilsner. This inspired the twist in the V of Pravha. It's a contemporary premium product, so I wanted the typeface to reflect this. I used Alternate Gothic No2 for the word mark.

BRAND GUIDELINES - LOGO ELEMENTS

Brand guidelines created for consistency across all touch points. It was important for the badge to work with the Staropramen identity.

BRAND GUIDELINES - CLEARSPACE

Guidelines included clearspace and also a minimum size version of the brand mark.  A simplified version was created for the bar runner.

Our design for the pump also incorporates the Pravha twist.

The glass also has a twist, but this isn't just for show. The glass helps make a smoother pour.
